JSW chief Sajjan Jindal inaugurated the Nuagaon iron ore block in Odisha today for which the leading steel maker was declared the highest bidder with a paid premium of 95.2% in the recent Odisha auctions. Spread over 767.284 ha, the mine has an environment clearance (EC) limit of 5.62 mn t. It had earlier been leased to KJS Ahluwalia.
