Production figure for countries major steel maker JSW steel
has seen a rise of 11% in the month of February, production of crude steel stands
at 6.75 lakh tons, compared to 6.09 lakh tons for the same period last year.
During the month, production for flat rolled products was
5.14 lakh tons, higher by 14 % compared to 4.49 lakh tons, however production
of long products was at 1.32 lakh tons, which was 1.54 lakh tons in February
2012, showing a decline of 14 %.
