Jharkhand miner raise Iron Ore prices by INR 200-300/MT
Taurian Iron and Steel, which operates a crusher plant in Jharkhand and associated with Singhbhum minerals (Jharkhand), has raised Iron ore Lump prices by INR 200-300/MT owing to improved demand from Sponge iron manufacturers after mining ban fear deepens.
Current Offers
5-18 mm (Fe 61-62%) = INR 5,200/MT (+300)
10-40 mm (Fe 61-62%) = INR 4,700/MT (+200)
Fines (Fe 57-58%) = INR 1,300/MT
All prices on Ex-plant basis, including royalty.
Additional cost of INR 200/MT for loading and transporting to nearest Railway siding.
Prices have been raised on account of upcoming Supreme Court’s interim order on illegal mining case in Odisha, which is likely to go against the miners.
