Tokyo Steel has announced a hike by JPY 500/t ($5) in its scrap purchase price for Tahara plant in central Japan. The company would pay JPY 26,000/t for H2 scrap delivered to Tahara from 10th Sep ’20. However, the company has kept bid price unchanged for the other four plants.
