Japan’s Tokyo steel hikes its domestic scrap purchase price by JPY 500-1000/t at four of its works except Utsunomiya plant, w.e.f 17th June’20. The new bid price for H2 scrap has been set at JPY 25000/t for Tahara plant and Kyushu factory, while the new price for Okayama plant and Takamatsu steel center will be at JPY 24500/t and JPY 23500/t respectively.
