Japan’s Steel Output in Apr’20 Falls to 11-Year Low Amid Pandemic

According to Japan’s Iron and Steel Federation (JISF), the country’s crude steel output in Apr’20 fell around 23.5% Y-o-Y to 6.2 MnT to an 11 year low amid the coronavirus crisis. Monthly output is the lowest monthly output since May’09.
