Japan’s pipes and tubes exports down 18% m-o-m to 70,121 t in Jul’21

The world’s third largest steelmaker Japan has recorded 18% m-o-m decline in total export volumes of pipes and tubes at 70,121 t in Jul’21 compared to 85,372 t in Jun’21, as SteelMint deduced from customs data. However, total imports stood at 16,372 t in Jul’21, up marginally 4% m-o-m, while the same edged down by nearly 6% to 1,07,133 t in the year-ago period.
