Japan’s Kanto scrap export tender witnesses a drop in July bid price by $4/t

Today, the Kanto Iron and Steel Cooperative Association in Japan concluded its July scrap export tender, witnessing a rise in bids in terms of JPY. However, the actual bid price in dollars decreased by $4/t to $323/t from June ($327/t). In JPY bid price increased by JPY 804/t, reaching JPY 52,168/t FAS, compared to JPY 51,364/t in June. The tender captured a volume of 14,000 tonnes of H2 scrap.
