Japan’s second largest steel manufacturer, JFE Steel Corporation, has installed its first stamp charged coke oven battery at its plant. The battery consists of 52 ovens and has a capacity of 6,82,000 t/year. The stamped charging coke oven battery allows the use of high volatile coking coal and semi soft coal without impairing the coke quality.
