Japan’s flat steel exports rise by 4%, m-o-m, in Aug’22

Japan’s flat steel exports stood at 1.90 mnt in Aug’22, up 4% as against 1.83 mnt in the previous month. The largest share of exports was of HRC and plates at 1.07 mnt, followed by electrical and galvanised steel at 417,960 t and 180,911 t respectively. Thailand, China and South Korea were the leading importers in the month.
