Japan’s flat steel exports fall over 15%, m-o-m, in July

Japan’s flat steel exports stood at 1.83 mnt in Jul’22, down 17% as against 2.20 mnt in Jun, SteelMint data shows. HRC and plates at 1.01 mnt had the highest share in exports, followed by electrical and galvanised steel at 439,601 t and 175,534 t, respectively. Thailand, China and South Korea were the leading importers from Japan during the month.
