Japan’s Country-wise Iron Ore Imports in Jan-Oct’21

Japan’s iron ore imports decreased 17% in Jan-Oct’21 to 94.28 million tonnes (mn t). In the first 10 months of CY’21, Japan’s iron ore imports from Australia reached 56.51 mn t, Brazil 24.29 mn t, Canada 5.94 mn t, South Africa 2.93 mn t, United States 1.14 mn t and India 0.99 mn t. It is to be noted that Japan imported 99.44 mn t iron ore in CY’20.
