Japanese scrap export prices have fallen by $29 further in a recently concluded deal for South Korean steelmakers including Dongkuk steel. A total of around 10,000 t of Japanese H2 has been booked at JPY 36,500/t ($352) FoB basis. Prices have significantly dropped by around JPY 3,000/t against the last bid by Hyundai Steel’s bid towards the closing of the last week.
