Japan’s leading EAF mill – Tokyo Steel has raised its scrap purchase price today for four works by up to JPY 2,000/t ($19). The company would pay JPY 39,000/t ($369) for H2 scrap delivered at Utsunomiya, effective from tomorrow (19th Feb’21). With today’s revision, prices of three major works are on the same price level.
