- Japan’s major EAF steelmaker, Tokyo Steel, has decreased scrap purchase prices for the first time this week.
- The company has trimmed H2 grade bids by JPY 500/t ($4/t) for all of its plants, effective 16 Nov.
- Post-revision, prices of H2 scrap stand at JPY 47,500/t ($341/t) delivered to Tahara works and JPY 48,000/t ($345/t) to Utsunomiya plant.
