Tokyo Steel is planning to increase its steel product prices in Dec by up to 3.3%, to meet tighter overseas markets and firmer demand in Japan. Price for rebar could be raised by 3.3% to JPY 63,000/t ($603). U-shaped steel sheet piles could be offered at JPY 95,000/t ($909), up 2.2% and H-shaped beams at 83,000/t ($794), up 2.5%. The company has kept prices unchanged in Nov for all its steel products.
