- Tokyo Steel has trimmed scrap purchase prices for the first time this week after the last revision made on 22 July.
- The company has lowered bids by up to JPY 2,000/t ($15/t) for all of its plants, effective 27 July.
- After adjustment, bid prices for H2 scrap are at JPY 44,000/t ($322/t) delivered to the Tahara plant, and JPY 43,000/t ($315/t) to the Utsunomiya works.
