Japan: Tokyo Steel reduces scrap procurement prices by up to $15/t

Tokyo Steel has trimmed scrap purchase prices for the first time this week after the last revision made on 22 July.
The company has lowered bids by up to JPY 2,000/t ($15/t) for all of its plants, effective 27 July.
After adjustment, bid prices for H2 scrap are at JPY 44,000/t ($322/t) delivered to the Tahara plant, and JPY 43,000/t ($315/t) to the Utsunomiya works.
