Tokyo Steel has revised scrap purchase prices for the third time this month, effective 20 Nov’25. In this latest round, the company increased prices by JPY 500/t ($3/t) at all plants. Post-revision, H2 scrap prices were as follows:
- Tahara, Okayama, Kyushu, Tokyo Bay: JPY 44,500/t ($282/t).
- Nagoya, Kansai: JPY 44,000/t ($279/t).
- Utsunomiya: JPY 43,500/t ($276/t).
- Takamatsu: JPY 39,500/t ($251/t).
