Japan’s leading EAF mill- Tokyo Steel has declared another price hike for scrap purchase price by JPY 1,000/t ($10) for three works, the company’s price circular shows. Revised offers will be effective from tomorrow (20th Nov’20). The company would pay JPY 31,000/t ($298) for H2-scrap delivered to Tahara and Okayama works. However, prices for Utsunomiya work has remained unchanged.
