Tokyo Steel Manufacturing, Japan’s largest electric-arc furnace steel mill has announced a roll-over in carbon flat steel prices for Aug ’21 sales except for steel plates and longs.
Current prices:
- Heavy plates prices have moved up by JPY 5,000/t ($45)
- H-shaped beams stands at JPY 106,000/t, up by JPY 3,000/t ($27)
- Steel bars including rebar stands at JPY 86,000/t, up JPY 3,000/t ($27)
Kiyoshi Imamura, MD Tokyo Steel said, “The price adjustment is based on the previous hike range, and to reflect the tightness in supply”.
