Japanese steelmaker Tokyo steel has recently made an announcement to launch “Green EV Steel Sheet Business Preparation Office”. By 2025, it aims to manufacture and sell “green EV steel sheets” to the auto industry, which are upcycled in an electric furnace utilising waste scrap. Also, a company-wide “Green EV Steel Sheet Business Preparation Project” will be established to assist the activities of preparation room.
