Japan’s largest electric-arc furnace steelmaker – Tokyo Steel has kept its steel product prices unchanged for Mar’21. The price for H-shaped beams will remain unchanged at JPY 93,000 ($880/t) and hot-rolled coil (HRC) at JPY 79,000 ($748/t). The prices were left unchanged to ensure a hike implemented in Jan’21 would be absorbed by the market.
