Tokyo Steel today observed 7th sucessive price hike for scrap purchase in a consistent rebound since last-week May, increasing bids by sharp JPY 1000/MT for 4 of its works, while keeping unchanged for Tahara, from 11th-Jun’20. They’ll pay JPY 24,500 /MT (USD 215) for H2 delivered to Tahara (Central) and JPY 25,500 and JPY 23,000/MT to Utsunomiya (Kanto) and Okayama respectively.
