Tokyo Steel has increased scrap procurement prices by JPY 1000/t ($6/t) at Tahara, Utsunomiya and Nagoya. The new price for H2 scrap will be JPY 52,000/t ($325/t) at the Tahara plant, JPY 51,000 ($319/t) at the Nagoya plant and JPY 52,500 ($328/t) at Utsunomiya. However, the steelmaker reduced prices at Kansai by JPY 500/t ($3/t) to JPY 51,000/t ($319/t).
