Tokyo Steel has increased its scrap purchase price by JPY 500/t ($5). Prices have moved up for all of its four plants excluding Utsunomiya plant and revised prices will be effective from tomorrow (3rd Nov’20). After revision, they would pay JPY 27,500/t ($262) for H2-scrap at both Tahara and Okayama works.
