Japan’s leading EAF mill- Tokyo Steel has increased scrap purchase price for all of its five plants up to JPY 1,500/t. The Company would pay JPY 29,500/t ($280/t) for H2-scrap delivered to Tahara and JPY 26,500/t ($251/t) for the Utsunomiya plant, effective from tomorrow, i.e. 12th Nov’20.
