Japan: Tokyo Steel cuts scrap purchase prices at Tahara, keeps tags at other plants stable

Tokyo Steel has announced its fourth scrap purchase price revision for Jun’25, effective 28 June. In this latest round, Tokyo Steel cut prices by JPY 500/t ($3/t) at its Tahara plant to JPY 41,000/t ($283/t), with tags stable at the others. The total price cut in June across all plants stands at up to JPY 500/t ($3/t).
