A major steel mill in Japan has reportedly booked around 20,000 t HRC for exports to Pakistan at a price in the range of $1,060-1,070/t CFR, SteelMint learnt from sources in Pakistan. Pakistan’s bulk HRC imports stood at 69,112 t in Jun’21, down 44% m-o-m. Imports stood at 124,090 t in May, as per bulk shipment data with SteelMint.
