Japan Seisen, a stainless steel wire manufacturer, has hiked prices of nickel-based SUS304 by JPY 50,000/t ($313/t) and chrome-based SUS430 by JPY 10,000/t ($62/t) for Jul’24 which reflect the increase in stainless steel wire rod prices. Prices of other grades such as SUSXM7 will rise by JPY 60,000 ($375/t), 303 by JPY 55,000 ($344/t), 316 by JPY 85,000 ($532/t), and 310S by JPY 100,000/t ($626/t).
