Nippon Steel, Japan’s largest integrated mill, has decided not to sell any carbon steel flats in the spot market in Jan’21. The steel-maker is focussing on delivering the signed tonnage to buyers as soon as possible, what with demand for flats and galvanised coils and sheets inching up due to robust demand from auto sector at a time of steady ramp up in output.
