Japan: Long steel exports fall marginally in Oct’21

Long steel exports by Japan fell merely by 1% to 220,711 t in Oct’21 against 223,692 t in Sep, SteelMint data shows.

• On a monthly basis, export volumes of rebar declined by almost 9% to 156,695 t, while those of structurals and wire rod moved up to 57,111 t (up 23%) and 6,906 t (up 14%), respectively.
• South Korea, Thailand and China remained the top three import destinations in Oct.
