JFE Engineering Corporation has received an order for the construction of CO2 liquefaction facility with an annual processing capacity of 10,000 t at Kansai Electric Power’s Maizuru power plant. This is the first time that the company has received order for construction of plant used for CCUS (CO2 capture, utilisation and storage). The project is likely to be completed by FY24.
