Japan: Imports of iron ore and pellets drop around 15% m-o-m in Nov’22

Japan’s imports of iron ore and pellets decreased by 14.1% m-o-m to 7.71 mnt in Nov’22 from 8.98 mnt in Oct, as per customs data.
Australia was the top exporter at 4.67 mnt followed by Brazil at 2.49 mnt.
Total imports in Jan-Nov’22 also fell by 7.1% to 96.28 against 103.68 mnt in the year-ago period.
