Japan: Ferrous scrap exports fall by 6% on month in Nov’21

Japan has registered a 6%, m-o-m, decline in ferrous scrap exports in Nov’21, as per latest data available with SteelMint.
The country exported 0.46 mn t of scrap in Nov’21 against 0.49 mn t in Oct.
South Korea was the largest importer with 0.23 mn t, followed by Vietnam with 0.17 mn t.
On a y-o-y basis, Japan exported 6.55 mn t in Jan-Nov’21, down 22% against 8.38 mn t in Jan-Nov’20.
