Japan: Ferro chrome imports down 4% m-o-m in Oct’22

Japan’s high carbon ferro chrome imports fell by 4% m-o-m to 50,373 t in Oct’22 in comparison with 52,548 t in Sep’22, as per Customs data.
Kazakhstan was the largest exporter at 19,270 t followed by South Africa and India.
Total ferro chrome imports stood at 542,474 t in Jan-Oct’22, marginally up by 1% y-o-y compared to the same period last year.
