Japan: Ferro chrome imports down 23% m-o-m in Nov’22

Japan’s high carbon ferro chrome imports fell by 23% m-o-m to 38,965 t in comparison with 50,373 t in Oct’22, as per Customs data.
Kazakhstan was the largest exporter at 23,541 t followed by South Africa and India.
Total ferro chrome imports stood at 576,159 t in Jan-Nov’22, down by 8% y-o-y compared to the same period last year.
