Japan: Ferro alloys imports up by 46% m-o-m in Oct ’20

Japanese ferro alloys imports increased by 46% in Oct ’20 after a dip in imports in Sep ’20. Hike in ferro alloys imports by Japan can be attributed to the increased crude steel production in Japan in Oct ’20 (up by 11% m-o-m). South Africa, Kazakhstan Australia and India were the top four contributors to Japanese ferro alloys imports.
