Japan: Aluminium secondary alloy production drops over 13%, y-o-y, in Jan’22

Aluminium secondary alloy production fell 13.5% y-o-y in Jan’22 to 55,460 t compared with 64,100 t in Jan’21, according to the secondary bullion and alloy production results compiled by the Japan Aluminium Alloy Association.
However, on a m-o-m basis too, production was down 11% as against 62,000 t in Dec’21.
