- Japan’s production of secondary aluminium alloys stood at 65,942 t in Oct’22, a rise of 5.5% y-o-y, according to the Japan Aluminum Alloys Association.
- Aluminium shipments rose 6% y-o-y to 66,613 t in the month.
- Sources say that the depreciation of the yen against the US dollar has led to an increase in domestic production.
