Karnataka Iron ore e-auction result for various mines and stockyards organized by MSTC, monitoring committee was out on 16th July 2013. Actual quantity of Iron ore offered for sale was 4,32,000 MT but auction was done only for 2,92,000 MT.
Total number of bids which came was 17, out of which numbers of bidders & winners were 11 each.

In the bidding process, Iron ore which was sold had no percentage increase on booking price over the floor price.35 % of the Iron ore fines offered was unsold . Out of 224000 MT of lumps only 22% was sold where as 78% of lumps were unsold.
