Iron Ore Prices Remain Stable in Odisha

Major merchant miners in Odisha have kept iron ore prices stable as of now.

Odisha based major merchant miners have kept iron ore prices unchanged as of now. Sales have fallen over sharp fall in prices of sponge iron. Sponge iron (C-DRI) prices in Eastern India have fallen by around INR 1,000/MT in last one month.

“Iron ore sales have reduced considerably over falling prices of sponge iron. Also few merchant miners which have resumed iron ore sales. There are possibilities that prices might reduce shortly”. – shared a market participant 

Iron ore prices have fallen in Jharkhand too. Rungta Mines is offering Fe 63% fines at INR 2,350/MT (as per loaded into wagons in Jharkhand).
