“Iron Ore Pellet is being quoted by Rs 200/MT more to Rs 8,200/MT (Basic) in Odisha”, said the Barbil based Iron Ore Pellets manufacturers.
The major reason which forced manufacturers to raise Iron Ore Pellets prices is the limited supply of iron ore in Odisha and Karnataka.
New guidelines for mining and Shah Commissions visit in Odisha and less availability of iron ore from 18 A grade mines in Karnataka, which recently got clearance from Supreme Court have resulted in low supply of iron ore.
According to them, further rise in prices is anticipated in the days ahead.
At Bellary, Iron Ore Pellets offers move up slightly and is being traded in the range of Rs 7,600-800/MT (Basic).
