Iron ore Pellet is being traded at lower prices across the country as offers standing at high levels were not being absorbed by market.
Buying from sponge iron manufacturers has reduced in a major way which has impacted the Iron ore Pellet market.
Offers of the raw material have been lowered in the range of Rs 200-400/MT further.
Current prices of various Pellet producers are as follows:
Raipur (Chhattisgarh) Rs 8,900-9,000/MT
Jharsuguda (Odisha) Rs 7,800-8,000/MT
Barbil (Odisha) Rs 7,700-8,100
Keonjhar (Odisha) Rs 7,600/MT
Tatanagar (Jamshedpur) Rs 7,900/MT
Bellary (Karnataka) Rs 7,600/MT
There are almost no chances of good demand or prices rise of Pellet until and unless finished steel demand improves along with some upward movement in prices.
