“In Indian market, Iron ore Pellet prices are standing somewhere between Rs 7,400-7,500/MT (ex works) and have been constant.
As far as imports are concerned, only if iron ore prices in international market drops to a certain level, imports of Pellet are likely to grow in the coming months.
Essar will be resuming sales in the month of April and are not offering Iron ore Pellet as of now.
We are ramping up our production at the Pellet plant in Paradip (Odisha) presently”, Mr Dilip Oommen, MD and CEO, Essar Steel India Pvt Ltd shared with SteelMint.
