Iranian steel majors’ produced around 8.05 MnT of finished steel during first seven months of the current Iranian year (March 21-Oct. 22, 2019). And total production of semi-finished & finished steel stood at 19.97 MnT during March 21-Oct. 22, 2019.
With 10.46 MnT of output, Mobarakeh Steel Company booked itself as the largest steel producing company during first seven months of the current Persian year.
The company produced 4.97 MnT of finished steel during the period, and registered a Y-o-Y growth of 1%.
With 1.31 MnT, Esfahan Steel Company (ESCO) stood the second largest finished steel producer of the nation during the first seven months of the current Iranian year. With this, the company has booked a Y-o-Y growth of 7%. Oxin Steel Company captured the third largest finished steel producer of the country with 484,968 MT and booked a Y-o-Y growth of 19%

Meanwhile, country’s semi finished steel production of major producers was recorded at 11.92 MnT; including ingot, bloom and billet and registered a Y-o-Y growth of 4%.
According to Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization’s (IMIDRO) latest report, MSC’s semi finished steel production was recorded at 5.49 MnT, down 1% in comparison with last year’s corresponding period.
With 2.19 MnT and 1.38 MnT, KSC and ESCO booked themselves as second and third largest producers of semi finished steel during first seven months.
