Iran’s steel production increase by 5% y-o-y during the current H1 Persian Year

Iran’s steel production during the current H1 Persian year (20 Mar-20 Sep’20) has increased by 5% y-o-y to reach 18.5 mn t, the latest report released by the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO) shows. With over 8 mn t of steel production, Mobarakeh Steel Company (MSC) continues to remain the country’s largest steel producer.
