Iran’s Steel Production in First 10 Months of the Persian Year

Iran’s steel production increased by 11% in the first ten months of the current Persian year (March, 2022-January, 2023), according to data released by the Iranian Steel Producers Association (ISPA).
Total production of finished steel stood at 18.28 mnt in the period under review, higher by 11% y-o-y. Production of long and flat steel stood at 10.7 mnt (up 14%) and 7.58 mnt (up 8%), respectively.
