Iran’s steel consumption rises over 20%, y-o-y, in March-July

Iran’s steel consumption increased significantly in the first four months of the current Persian year (Mar-Jul’22), according to the latest data released by the Iranian Steel Producers Association (ISPA).

• Finished steel consumption increased by 22% y-o-y.
• Flat steel and long steel consumption rose on the year by 13% and 29%, respectively.
