Iran’s steel consumption rises nearly 10%, y-o-y, in April

Iran’s steel consumption increased marginally in Apr’22, the first month of the current Persian year, according to latest data released by the Iranian Steel Producers Association (ISPA).

• Finished steel consumption increased by 9% y-o-y.
• Flat steel and long steel consumption rose on the year by 6% and 14%, respectively.
