Iran’s steel consumption rises 15% y-o-y in H1 of Persian year

Iran’s steel consumption increased y-o-y in the first half of the current Persian year (Mar-Sep’22), according to latest data released by the Iranian Steel Producers Association (ISPA).

• Finished steel consumption increased by 15% y-o-y.
• Flat steel and long steel consumption also rose by 14% and 13%, y-o-y respectively.
